Leslie Collins was born in Wellesley, MA and moved with her family to Birmingham, MI when she was nine years old. She graduated from Seaholm High School and then earned a BA in International Studies, Anthropology, Political Science and Spanish at Michigan State University. After her graduation, she moved to Seattle, WA where she lived until 2011. Leslie moved back to her hometown to spend time with her parents and family. She has 2 children: her daughter attends Derby Middle School and her son, who graduated from Seaholm, attends University of WA in Seattle.
Leslie earned a Master’s in Psychology at Antioch University and worked as a psychotherapist as well as working in high tech sales, selling software and working as a recruiter at Microsoft. Leslie first entered the field of real estate as an investor, buying, rehabbing and selling properties in Oakland County. After spending 2+ years as an investor, she decided she was ready to make the leap to working in real estate full time. She got her real estate license and in 2017, joined NextHome City Realty and Birmingham Realty, LLC as a full-time realtor.
